ADO Pulse – Terms of Use
Last reviewed: December 2025
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of ADO Pulse. By accessing or using ADO Pulse, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use it.
Access and Permissions
You may connect ADO Pulse to your Azure DevOps organisation or project using OAuth or a Personal Access Token. ADO Pulse requires read-only permissions. You are responsible for ensuring you have authority to grant such access.
Data Processing
ADO Pulse analyses configuration, metadata, file types, and related project attributes. It does not access or store the contents of your source code. ADO Pulse generates an assessment report which we store on Microsoft Azure (UK South region). The report may include your email address and the names of identified stale or inactive users. For further information on data processing, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Use of Results
A summary report may be provided free of charge. Full reports require a valid licence. You may use the assessment results for internal purposes only and may not redistribute or commercialize them without written consent.
No Guarantees
ADO Pulse and its results are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the assessment results. Recommendations represent guidance only and should not be relied upon as professional or legal advice.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from use of ADO Pulse, including but not limited to operational changes, security decisions, or financial outcomes based on ADO Pulse’s recommendations.
Acceptable Use
You may not:
-
use ADO Pulse in violation of applicable laws
-
attempt to access data beyond ADO Pulse’s authorized permissions
-
interfere with or attempt to reverse engineer ADO Pulse
Modification and Termination
We may modify or discontinue ADO Pulse at any time. Continued use following changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom (or substitute jurisdiction if required).
